Pole Holding and Safety Watch

 Gunson provides certified PSSP level 5 qualified workers to hold poles while working in the protective zones as well as safety watching when you are working within the limits of approach near energized power lines. 

Pole Holding

 

 If you are excavating close to power poles we can provide pole holding services so the stability of the pole is maintained and the area is safe in case of undermining and accidental movement of machinery.  
The working zone is within 4x the diameter of the pole around the pole with a 3m x 4m slope from the ground line.

Safety Watch

 

If you are working close or within the limits of approach of 10 ft of electrical powerlines, we can provide qualified electrical level 5 workers to assure distances are maintained and a safe work zone is in place.
A 30M33 is an insurance in writing acceptable to Work Safe BC that is required when working within your limits or approach.

Power Pole Installation

 

 Gunson Power offers a variety of power pole installation services. We specialize in private and utility powerlines, telephone poles and any poles used for security and lighting. 

Sometimes poles need to be replaced due to damage or rot. 

Pole sales

 

 We offer a variety of power pole sales along with installation. We sell treated cedar or pine poles throughout BC and the lower mainland.  Contact us for more information on sales.  

Emergency response

 

 We provide 24 hour emergency services for storm repair or damages, accidents or any interrupted service on overhead and underground electrical lines and transformers.

Gunson Power provides 24/7 Emergency services in response to any situation.  Storm repair, vehicle accident or faulty equipment.  We will respond quickly and be onsite with top priority.  

Stay safe if you come across a damaged or downed powerline. Keep your distance. Stay back and call 911 to report. 

Power Restoration and Repairs 

We can provide restoration and repairs to broken poles, downed powerlines, transformer replacements, underground cables and tree trimming.

Transmission

 

Gunson Power can provide a variety of maintenance and repairs to all types of Transmission Lines from 69kV to 230kV.
From pole replacements and down Power lines to insulator and arm changes.

 We can provide power pole installation services for residential, commercial or industrial projects and everything in between.
